Amazing, interesting, an expression made when something unexpectedly good happens.
WoW Wipe-em Out Wednesday Comment by: john
It doesn't have to be positive. It certainly doesn't mean 'amazing' or 'interesting' thought it could be applied to amazing and interesting things. It's just an expression of general surprised disbelief. "Wow! I can't believe that happened." "Wow! I thought it was enough?" "Wow! You really look good today." Can also be used in the place of the word 'impress', as in: "Why don't you give it your best shot and see if you can wow me" Can also be used in the past tense then: "I was really wowed by what I saw."
